Senior Manager - Airport Mobility Operations

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Manager of Airport Mobility Operations will oversee all transport services related to the arrival and departure of guests, employees, and stakeholders to and from airports served by the AMAALA project. This role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient transportation during high-traffic periods, contributing to a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring transport schedules, managing service providers, and overseeing the transport team. The role also involves proactively identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. The jobholder is responsible for planning and providing safe, reliable transportation services to all guests and employees/stakeholders to ensure safe journeys with minimal delays. Additionally, the role requires constant management of fleet maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance team, ensuring effective operation and a positive guest experience through fleet upkeep.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage and monitor airport transport operations.
  2. Oversee daily transportation services between airport terminals and Triple Bay / AMAALA Staff Village.
  3. Monitor schedules for arrivals and departures to prevent gaps or delays.
  4. Ensure transport services meet safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction standards.
  5. Coordinate service operations and address any non-performance issues promptly.
  6. Lead a team of transport coordinators, drivers, and support staff, managing scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
  7. Act as the primary contact for transport-related inquiries and complaints, responding promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.
  8. Review and analyze transport operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, implementing system improvements.
  9. Ensure all transport services comply with safety regulations and company policies, investigating incidents and taking corrective actions.
  10. Compile reports on transport performance, ridership data, incidents, and feedback; provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Minimum 12 years of industry experience with proven expertise in automotive or transportation sectors.
  3. Experience managing airport functions in large, fast-paced environments.
  4. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with intermediate skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to VIP clients.
  8. Strong customer service orientation, high energy, and passion for interaction.
  9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  10. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information maturely.
