Job summary

DS DeepSource is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to manage RHEL and Kubernetes for an HPC infrastructure. You will install, patch, and harden Linux servers, administer Kubernetes clusters, and automate with Ansible, Shell, and Python to improve reliability.

The role focuses on system reliability, security, performance, and availability, with ongoing incident resolution and documentation of procedures. On-site in Riyadh region, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with security hardening and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL/Linux servers and HPC compute nodes.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems.
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads.
• Perform Linux performance tuning, system hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Automate infrastructure administration using Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, or similar tools.
• Support integration between compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and HPC platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, Kubernetes, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices across Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Support incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL/Linux servers and HPC compute nodes.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems.
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads.
• Perform Linux performance tuning, system hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management.
• Experience supporting HPC environments / compute clusters is highly preferred.
