A leading company in the petrochemical industry is seeking an experienced production planner to develop and oversee production plans. The role involves performance monitoring, KPI reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Production Plans
Support the LP specialist & LP Engineer in developing the short-term and long-term plans:
a) Review of constraints
b) Review of inputs from operations/PED sections and coordination
c) Review pf price forecast from marketing& Sales
2. Performance monitoring
Carry out a vigilant performance monitoring for the company actual production vs. plan, monthly/daily scheduling targets vs optimum plan and monitor overall complex performance with respect to production, stream yields, stream qualities, capacities and provide estimate of opportunity gain/losses due to deviation
3. KPI monitoring of the section
Prepare reports on-time all relevant performance KPIs of the section (e.g. Overall complex availability, utilization, yields, specific consumption, plan vs. actual, etc.) against specific target or benchmark such Solomon to ensure progress toward planning goalsand targets.
4. Maintain Historical Operation Data recording
Maintain all the Historical Operation Data needed for the development of all relevant performance KPIs and metrics including datasuch as shutdown events detail, reasons, duration.
5. Product Quality Giveaway
Evaluate and review monthly product quality giveaway compared to target, prime product ratio and report any deviation from targetand provide recommendation.
6. Projects & Economics Evaluation
Carry out with LP specialist/engineers economics studies and reviews in case of new project, facility design change new grades, etc.to assure compatibility with existing facilities and identify any possible impact on existing operation, product quality and slateand verify the economic viability and provide recommendations to Petro Rabigh management.
7. Work Process Optimization
Review the department work instruction, procedures and internal control documents to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

2.More than 10 years experience in a progressively responsible role in production planning in a similar industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Refinery and Petrochemical operation and economics.
4. Experience in using planning tools.
