Job description

Ensure effective legal and regulatory support by managing transactional matters, compliance, and documentation across local real estate products and fund structures. Align legal work with Shariah principles, ensure CMA compliance, and support asset transfer processes and strategic legal initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including investment, joint venture, service, shareholder, sale and purchase, NDA, and other related agreements
  • Ensure all legal documents are aligned with Sidra’s business objectives and Shariah compliance standards.
  • Draft, review, and amend the Terms and conditions (T&Cs) of investment funds in accordance with CMA regulations.
  • Prepare and submit filings to regulatory authorities, including the CMA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct legal research on real estate and investment activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure fund documentation is legally sound and strategically aligned.
  • Manage the transfer of assets to the Fund’s Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
  • Oversee amendments to the SPVs’ bylaws.
  • Coordinate with notary offices to facilitate notarization of fund-related transactions.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for legal documents and agreements.
  • Translate legal documents between Arabic and English as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in real estate or investment sectors.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
