Owing to recent contract awards, we are recruiting a high-caliber Senior Landscape Architect for our Saudi-based construction team, managing a diverse portfolio of schemes throughout Saudi Arabia to meet our demanding workload.

Requirements:

We are looking for a career-minded Senior Landscape Architect with proven experience in construction supervision of large-scale utilities projects. Candidates should have:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct landscape or townscape character and visual impact studies, including assessment and reporting, and produce landscape plans.
2. Attend and coordinate client briefings, present project stages, and collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Prepare and present landscape designs to clients and approval agencies, demonstrating expertise in land use planning, landscape architecture, and urban design.
4. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including statutory bodies, regarding relevant legislation and policies.

Additional requirements include fluency in English and Arabic, ownership of a car and driving license, and relevant academic qualifications and experience as detailed below.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry.
• At least 10 years’ experience in site supervision of utilities projects.
• Experience working in large consultancy firms, with strong commercial awareness and report writing skills.
• Effective project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of landscape planning laws, policies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience mentoring staff.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
