Amazon has an immediate opening for an IT Engineer in one of our Fulfillment Centers. Fulfillment Centers handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors, and ship them across the globe each day. The successful candidate will understand how things work in their areas of responsibility and keep changes under control. You will build and operate infrastructure environments and provide critical input to ensure that the platform is designed with operability in mind. You will ensure all work around infrastructure progresses successfully. As no two days are the same in Amazon, you will thrive on change and embrace ambiguity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 4+ years of networking experience (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• 4+ years supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience implementing or managing network security measures (e.g., Firewalls, ACLs, VPNs) over the last 4+ years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with coding and scripting.
