Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of full low-current systems, including:
- Telephony and IP telephone systems
- Firewall systems
- CCTV and video surveillance solutions
- IPTV distribution networks
- Access control systems
- Gate barrier automation
- Fire alarm and detection systems
- Audiovisual (AV) systems
- Network switches and routers.
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and subcontractors to ensure project delivery and system performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system failures and performance issues across all low-current disciplines.
- Prepare technical documentation, work reports, and as-built drawings for projects.
- Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to internal teams and end-users.
- Oversee system integration, commissioning, and handover processes for multi-disciplinary projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Computer, or Telecom Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive hands-on experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of low current systems: Telephony, CCTV, IPTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, Fire Alarm, Audio Visual, Switches, and Routers.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 switching, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, and structured cabling.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and tender documents.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading and coordinating engineering teams in a commercial contracting environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, codes, and best practices in low-current and security systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred:
- CCNP certificate is a MUST.
- Cisco or AVAYA VOIP certificates will be a plus.
- Experience in project management and technical training.
