The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Engineer to join our Aviation PMC team for a major airport development project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This critical role focuses on the design review, integration, and implementation oversight of airport-wide ICT and special systems infrastructure in line with international aviation standards.

The ideal candidate will lead the technical coordination of complex ICT systems and ensure seamless collaboration with contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design review, validation, and integration of ICT and special airport systems including but not limited to:

  
  

  • Structured cabling systems (SCS)

    
    

  • Airport-wide data and communication networks

    
    

  • Data centers and server rooms

    
    

  • CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA), and Fire Alarm Systems

    
    

  • Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), A-VDGS, FIDS, and PLB systems

    
    

  • Airfield lighting control, navigational aids, and ATC communications

    
    

  • System integration platforms (middleware, dashboards, control centers)

    
    

• Ensure compliance with ICAO, IATA, FAA, GACA, and local regulatory standards throughout design and implementation.

  
  

• Liaise with PMC leadership, design consultants, and contractors to ensure system requirements are aligned with overall airport infrastructure objectives.

  
  

• Review and approve ICT design documents, interface specifications, and equipment submittals.

  
  

• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of ICT systems, ensuring integration performance and reliability across systems.

  
  

• Provide technical guidance and support during construction and operational readiness phases.

  
  

• Monitor project progress, milestones, and ensure timely delivery of ICT packages.

  
  

• Report regularly to project leadership and client representatives on system design status, risks, and mitigation plans.

  
  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, ICT, or a related engineering discipline

  
  

• Minimum 15 years of experience in ICT systems design and engineering, preferably within airport and aviation infrastructure

  
  

• Proven track record in large-scale airport ICT system integration projects, ideally within the Middle East region

  
  

• Experience working in a PMC or consulting environment on aviation or infrastructure projects
