JASARA PMC is inviting expressions of interest for the position of Senior HSE Manager. We are looking for an accomplished professional who can lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives and drive our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards across all operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping our HSE strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute HSE strategies that align with company goals and regulatory requirements
2. Establish and maintain HSE policies, practices, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
3. Conduct risk assessments and implement effective measures to mitigate identified hazards
4. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams on HSE matters and ensure compliance monitoring
5. Design and deliver HSE training programs to promote safety awareness among employees and contractors
6. Perform audits and inspections on projects and facilities to assure adherence to internal and external HSE standards
7. Engage with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure alignment on HSE practices
8. Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management and other stakeholders
9. Stay updated with industry developments and best practices in HSE management

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. At least 20 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or project management sector, including high rise buildings and hotels
3. Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is strongly preferred
4. In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and industry best practices
5. Experience in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies
6. Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and influence across all levels of the organization
8. Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills would be beneficial
9. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
