Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Project HSE department and provide technical support for effective Health, Safety, and Environmental management.

You will develop and execute health and safety plans in line with legal guidelines, evaluate practices to identify risks, and monitor compliance through inspections across high-value projects, reporting to the head of the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant management position.
• GCC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems to ensure regulatory and industry compliance.
• Provide leadership for HSE initiatives and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement controls.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve HSE performance.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, track trends, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders on HSE matters to ensure contractual compliance.
• Prepare HSE reports and presentations for stakeholders, communicating key findings and recommendations.
• Drive continuous HSE improvement through best practices and lessons learned.
• Provide HSE guidance to senior management and project teams to promote proactive risk management.

Monitors compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations associated with high project value, and ensures proper identification by the head of the department.

• Job Experience Minimum 15 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant management position, 5 years GCC experience is a plus
