Senior Geospatial Data Quality Management Specialist

Salary: Competitive

JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in the safe use of their aircraft, equipment, and weapons.

The Geospatial Data Quality Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of geospatial data products. The role involves establishing quality control procedures and evaluating data accuracy and completeness to ensure successful geospatial analyses and products. The individual should be able to work independently and organize the team’s activities effectively.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Establish quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of geospatial data and intelligence products.
2. Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of geospatial data to ensure successful analyses and products.
3. Collaborate with other geospatial specialists to integrate quality control procedures into geospatial products.
4. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues.
5. Monitor quality control processes to ensure quality and timeliness.
6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of geospatial data quality management platforms and tools.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering or a related field.
• Certificate in Total Quality Management.
• Extensive experience in geospatial data quality management roles.
• Skills in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Data Quality, FME Data Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial data quality management principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
