As a Senior Geologist, you will be crucial in analyzing data from a variety of sources. Develop advanced processing and inversion technologies applied to seismic and Multiphysics data for geohazard identification, resource exploration and monitoring/surveillance.
The role will be based in the head office in Dammam and will work and collaborate closely with our Quarry team in Al-Ahassa region. Regular travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Perform complex geophysical work around the process of acquiring, collating, processing, interpreting and reporting of complete and high-quality geophysical data in order to provide accurate and customized data.
Follow up on the implementation of the company’s obligations stipulated in the Mining Investment System and its Executive Regulations and submit periodic reports in this regard to the plant manager.
Supervise all requests for existing or new quarries and related procedures, including Saudi Aramco requirements.
Ensure effective coordination with all relevant parties and communicate with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources regarding new quarry requests.
Provide geological field investigation support (Sampling, Drilling, Results Validation, etc.).
Follow up on the Mining Plan and ensure its compliance.
Design and control blasting operations.
Engage with Bedouins, governmental authorities, and external stakeholders.
Perform office work including data management, preparation of maps and figures, assisting in data evaluation, and assisting in the preparation of project work plans, reports, and permit applications.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a:
Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences or related discipline (e.g., Geology, Geophysics, or other related fields).
