DESCRIPTION

Senior Finance Analyst will be a finance partner to the Operations KSA supporting key business decisions while driving cost improvement programs. This includes responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.

Key job responsibilities

1. Build and automate financial models that support operational and cost planning across Amazon’s delivery network in KSA, influencing strategic decisions at the country level.
2. Partner with the Country Head and collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Operations, PXT, and Facilities to drive cost-out initiatives, long-term planning, and annual budgeting.
3. Lead variance analysis, results reporting, and financial review meetings to support business performance and productivity improvements.
4. Evaluate and enhance core financial tools and methodologies, gaining exposure to a multicultural environment with opportunities for international career growth and stakeholder management development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
