Job description

Senior Finance Analyst

The Senior Finance Analyst will serve as a finance partner to the Operations team in KSA, supporting key business decisions and driving cost improvement programs. This role involves managing financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, and capable of managing finances in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and automate financial models to support operational and cost planning across Amazon’s delivery network in KSA, influencing strategic decisions at the country level.
  2. Partner with the Country Head and collaborate with teams like Operations, PXT, and Facilities to drive cost-out initiatives, long-term planning, and annual budgeting.
  3. Lead variance analysis, results reporting, and financial review meetings to support business performance and productivity improvements.
  4. Evaluate and improve core financial tools and methodologies, gaining exposure to a multicultural environment with opportunities for international career growth and stakeholder management development.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • 4+ years of experience in process improvements through automation and analysis.
  • 4+ years of experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Knowledge of Tableau.
  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
