Qualification: BE Mechanical / Chemical / Production or equivalent

Objectives of this role
  1. Represent the company's engineering products and solutions by leveraging in-depth knowledge and consumer insights to align with customer needs.
  2. Identify and cultivate leads by engaging warm prospects and uncovering new sales opportunities.
  3. Maintain a pipeline of potential customers and coordinate with sales executives for the next steps.
  4. Continuously refine and improve the company's lead-generation strategies.
  5. As this is a customer-facing role, a willingness to travel is required.
Responsibilities
  1. Proactively explore new business opportunities in process industries.
  2. Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  3. Conduct market research and analyze customer needs and industry trends.
  4. Attend industry events and conferences to expand the company's network.
  5. Engage with clients to understand their software requirements, provide technical guidance, and highlight key product features.
  6. Assess prospect needs and recommend suitable products or services.
  7. Develop and deliver impactful presentations to prospective customers.
  8. Foster long-term relationships with prospects to qualify leads for sales.
  9. Schedule meetings with potential clients.
  10. Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and service agreements.
  11. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  12. Prepare and submit detailed sales reports.
  13. Maintain and update the customer database.
  14. Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results to the regional sales head.
Required skills and qualifications
  1. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  2. Experience in enterprise sales within the process industry.
  3. Lateral hires should have a proven track record of surpassing lead generation targets.
  4. Strong analytical abilities and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  5. A keen desire and capability to grow within a sales organization.
Preferred skills and qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production engineering with 4 or more years of sales experience, especially in the software or technology sector, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  2. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts and sales strategies.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing client relationships.
  4. Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
