Job Description

To develop and supervise all marketing communications strategies for the company to drive awareness of Bupa's value proposition and corporate identity. This includes the development of goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Master Brand Positioning & Guidelines:
  • Understand category and consumer behaviors, triggers, and barriers.
  • Understand customer and consumer segmentation.
  • Monitor and study competitor offerings, brand positioning, segments, and channels.
  • Identify areas of brand differentiation and develop/refine brand positioning.
  • Acquire and understand global brand guidelines and best practices.
  • Create BA brand guidelines for internal and external use.
  • Communicate the brand guidelines internally and ensure compliance by BA employees.
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure understanding and compliance of all designs and executions to Bupa brand guidelines.
  • Set brand activity plans for the strategic year.
  • Develop activity materials (designs, POS materials, booths, etc.).
  • Set PR objectives and plans for the year.
  • Develop content and materials for PR releases.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and manage social media strategies for online platforms.
    • Drive engagement with specific calls to action, targeting loyalty, business, and health education.
    • Measure effectiveness and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Develop content and manage social calendars aligned with campaigns, activations, and updates.
    • Evaluate social media performance and plan alignment.
  • E-commerce Channel:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure ownership and achievement of outcomes.
    • Optimize and manage the commerce platform for all segments.
    • Define stages and objectives to launch and improve e-commerce as a commercial channel.
    • Review consumer blueprints, analyze data, and measure KPIs.
    • Assess and evaluate e-commerce platforms and competitors.
  • Web Strategy:
    • Assess BA web strategy and ensure alignment with Bupa Global's strategy and internal plans.
    • Set web and social media KPIs and objectives, ensuring delivery.
  • Agency Management & Budget Planning:
    • Manage relationships with agencies, ensuring understanding and alignment with company strategy.
    • Create a positive team environment between Bupa and agency partners.
    • Issue briefs, evaluate responses, designs, and deliverables.
    • Evaluate agency appointments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Oversee activity execution with agencies.
    • Coordinate with agencies on costs, scope, and timelines.
    • Plan and monitor annual brand spending.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of marketing concepts and execution.
    • Analytical skills to identify correlations and patterns.
    • Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
    • Excellent computer skills, including web search, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Experience in developing new communication strategies and repositioning brands.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
    • Ideally FMCG and service industry experience.
    • 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in brand building and a total of 8+ years in marketing.
