Job Description:

We are partnering with a well-established company in Saudi Arabia. They specialize in energy and infrastructure projects. They provide services including EPC contracting, pipeline and pump solutions, offshore and onshore survey services, and engineering solutions.

Currently, they are looking for a Senior Estimation/Technical Engineerto join their team in Al Khobar and play a pivotal role in estimation and tendering processes for projects, ensuring accurate cost evaluations, innovative design solutions, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Estimation and Tendering Leadership:

  • Lead all aspects of tendering, including quotations, estimations, pre-contracts, and project award negotiations.
  • Review tender documents such as specifications, drawings, soil reports, and design criteria.
  • Develop and finalize baseline budgets, cash flows, material and manpower schedules, and project timelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive site visits and meetings to gather data and insights for tender preparation.

2. Technical Analysis and Design Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop economical and innovative solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Oversee the pricing of final designs and ensure competitive cost estimations.
  • Review and approve technical documents, BOQs, and rate analyses for tender submissions.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, quantity surveyors, and draftsmen, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure team outputs meet deadlines and maintain technical accuracy and quality.

4. Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing ambiguities and resolving queries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to support tendering and project execution.

5. Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to client requirements, industry standards, and legal regulations in all tendering activities.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and best practices for project estimations and submissions.
