A leading engineering consultancy in Jeddah is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical works for a major food industry project. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 10-12 years of experience, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, supervising site work, and ensuring compliance with standards. Immediate joining with transferable Iqama is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia in a consultant role.
• Prior work on factories, food facilities, or other industrial buildings is a must.
• Well-versed in IEC, NEC, NFPA, SBC, and electrical design standards.

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong design and consultancy background and extensive experience in industrial site supervision. The role is for a major food industry project.

Location: Jeddah Industrial Area (Modon 3)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical works: LV distribution, lighting, panels, MCC, transformers, earthing, fire alarm, BMS, low-current systems, etc.
• Review and comment on electrical shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Supervise site works for compliance with drawings, specs, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with MEP and civil teams to ensure smooth execution and conflict resolution.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and handover processes for all electrical systems.
• Interface with the contractor and project management team to ensure alignment and progress.
• Provide progress updates and prepare reports and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia in a consultant role.
• Prior work on factories, food facilities, or other industrial buildings is a must.
• Well-versed in IEC, NEC, NFPA, SBC, and electrical design standards.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Must have strong design knowledge and proven site supervision track record.
• Ready for immediate joining with transferable Iqama.
