Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Drilling Engineer to join our offshore operations team for a 12-month assignment on the Hout field. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, programming, and support of new drilling operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective well delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan drilling programs for new wells in the Hout offshore field
  
• Analyze offset well data to optimize well architecture and performance
  
• Conduct comprehensive casing, mud and BHA design
  
• Plan and optimize well trajectory and placement mechanisms
  
• Perform BHA hydraulics and mechanics analysis, including jar and bit selection
  
• Develop loss circulation treatment strategies
  
• Implement well control precautions and immediate response actions
  
• Provide on-site support and updates during execution phase
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project objectives
  
• Adapt to additional technical tasks as required throughout the drilling operation
  
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or equivalent)
