Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a visionary and highly experienced Senior Director - Development Management Office - Planning to join our esteemed team. This role is critical to the successful execution of Qiddiya's ambitious project roadmap, focusing on the strategic planning and coordination of development initiatives across our vast multi-disciplinary projects.
As the Senior Director of Planning, you will lead the Development Management Office (DMO) and oversee the planning phase of various projects within Qiddiya. Your expertise in project management and strategic planning will ensure alignment with our overall vision while optimizing resource allocation and project execution timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Development Management Office to establish and implement planning frameworks and methodologies for development projects
Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, scopes, and timelines in accordance with company goals
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform the decision-making process
Ensure strategic alignment of development initiatives with Qiddiya's long-term objectives and stakeholder expectations
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary, facilitating transparent communication among all stakeholders
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to promote collaboration
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members within the Development Management Office, fostering a culture of excellence
Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership, outlining project plans, challenges, and solutions
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in all planning activities
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field
A minimum of 16-19 years of relevant experience in development management, with a focus on strategic planning
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and development processes
Proven track record of successfully leading complex development projects from inception to completion
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
Experience in the entertainment, leisure, or large-scale development sectors is highly desirable
Proficiency in project management software and tools
