Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and high availability
  • Ensure system uptime and high availability through load balancing, failover strategies, and disaster recovery planning
  • Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and malicious traffic
  • Proactively monitor systems for performance, availability, and security — resolving issues before they impact users
  • Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Enforce infrastructure security best practices, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control
  • Implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing) to improve system visibility and troubleshooting speed
  • Manage database performance, backups, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Proven expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Cloudflare, AWS WAF etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools
