The successful candidate will hold an advanced dermatology qualification and possess substantial post-qualification experience, with a track record in patient counseling and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• MD, DNB, Board certification or equivalent dermatology qualification.
• Several years of dermatology experience post-qualification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist consultations and obtain detailed histories.
• Perform comprehensive clinical examinations to evaluate skin conditions.
• Diagnose a broad spectrum of acute, chronic, recurrent, and complex dermatological disorders.
• Develop differential diagnoses and plan investigations as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment strategies based on findings.
• Manage chronic conditions requiring ongoing specialist supervision.
• Perform dermatological procedures within approved scope.
• Review labs and diagnostic data to inform treatment.
• Prescribe and monitor therapies tailored to patient needs.
• Assess treatment effectiveness and modify plans as necessary.
• Counsel patients on diagnoses, therapies, options and outcomes.
• Provide guidance on medications, skin care, prevention and adherence.
• Conduct follow-up consultations and monitor progress.
• Coordinate referrals for multidisciplinary input.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and documentation.
