You will be based in our Cairo or Riyadh office as part of our QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey team, partnering with consultants, clients, and colleagues.

Our QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey teams bring the latest analytical techniques, industry insights, and expertise in corporate functions to help clients maximize value from data.

You will creatively leverage data to solve business challenges, uncovering new and transformative opportunities.

This role focuses on developing advanced analytics models to optimize business problems. You will apply cutting-edge analytics, quantitative tools, and modeling techniques to interpret data, derive insights, and provide recommendations. You will help shape data-driven organizational strategies, innovate data utilization processes, and inspire new thinking across diverse clients and situations.

You will generate valuable business strategies through data measurement, manipulation, reporting, and dissemination. You will advise on and apply advanced analytic and quantitative tools to derive insights, solve complex problems, and enhance decision-making. Additionally, you will support and improve the analytics requirements of clients’ operational processes to increase their impact.

Minimum Requirements

1. Undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering; master's degree is a plus.
2. 5+ years of professional experience in programming; experience applying programming to business problems is advantageous.
3. Proficiency in programming, especially machine learning in Python; knowledge of SPSS, SAS, Ruby, Hadoop is a plus.
4. Experience in data treatment and mining: SQL, AWK, Access, Spark, Excel.
5. Strong aptitude for analytics; statistical knowledge is beneficial.
6. Proven leadership experience in work or extracurricular activities.
7. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and communicate across organizational levels.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in local languages is a plus.
