Role Purpose

In your first year, you will enhance detection and response capabilities through automation, embed security controls into CI/CD and infrastructure pipelines, and lead root cause analysis across security incidents to improve our defense posture.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead security configuration, hardening, and monitoring of critical cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with SOC partners and internal engineering teams, driving threat detection and response workflows.
• Manage integrations between security tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure, ensuring security-by-design.
• Engineer security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.
• Lead technical investigations and post-incident root cause analyses.
• Support onboarding of new assets into the SOC and maintain visibility across the environment.
• Contribute to the security architecture roadmap and evaluate new security technologies.
• Coordinate with MSSP teams to ensure service delivery, triage incidents, and meet SLAs/KPIs.
• Stay current with evolving threat landscapes and propose proactive mitigations.

Qualifications & Attributes

We re seeking someone who embodies the following:

• Education:
  Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications like CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Certified Security Specialist preferred.
• Experience:
  5 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or related domains. Proven work with enterprise-scale or cloud-native secure environments. Exposure to international SOC operations is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  Must-haves:
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, IAM, encryption, and endpoint security.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Sentinel, QRadar, Splunk).
• Hands-on use of EDR, SOAR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with security automation and DevSecOps integration.
• Work with MSSP/SOC teams and knowledge of real-time threat response.
• Cloud security expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Exposure to telecom, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
• Container security knowledge.
