Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead end-to-end security for telecom environments, including 4G/5G, RAN, transport and cloud/virtualisation. You will design architectures, guide risk assessments, and drive secure deployments across large-scale programs.

With 12+ years in cybersecurity and at least 5 years in telecom, you will apply standards (GSMA, NIST, ETSI, 3GPP) and lead workshops with executives. English required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in telecom environments (4G/5G, RAN, transport).
• Expertise with security standards and compliance frameworks (GSMA, ENISA, ETSI, NIST).
• Hands-on with PKI, HSM, PAM, SIEM/EDR and secure architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end security architectures for Cloud and Telecom environments across domains.
• Lead risk assessments, threat modelling, and security guidance for large-scale programmes.
• Assess, recommend, and validate security technologies (firewalls, PKI, SIEM, EDR, SOAR).
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
• Engage with customers and executives as a trusted security advisor.

Your Role

You will be joining one of the world's most recognised names in cybersecurity, with over 6,000 cyber security consultants across the Capgemini Group and more than 30 years of proven expertise spanning IT, Embedded, Industrial, and Telecom environments. As part of our growing Cybersecurity practice, you will work at the forefront of Telecom security, contributing to complex, large-scale programmes that shape the future of connected infrastructure — from 5G core networks and Mission Critical Communications to Non-Terrestrial Networks and Industrial IoT.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing end-to-end security architectures for Cloud and Telecom environments, covering domains including SIM/eSIM, RAN, Transport, EPC and 5G Core, IMS, MCx, OSS, and BSS, ensuring robust protection across the full network stack.
• Developing and implementing security frameworks aligned with international standards such as 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI, NIST and ISO 27001, applying best practices including Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, and Adaptive Security architectures.
• Conducting risk assessments and threat modelling across complex Telecom environments, providing expert technical guidance to mitigate cyber security risks, vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Assessing, recommending and validating security technologies — including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, HSM, PAM, EDR, SIEM and SOAR solutions — against defined security requirements.
• Creating and maintaining high-quality security architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, guidelines and training materials, while leading collaboration with solution architects and integration teams to ensure secure deployments.
• Engaging directly with customers and senior executives during workshops and presentations, acting as a trusted technical authority on Telecom cybersecurity matters.

Your Profile

• A strong background in cybersecurity with a minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years focused on Telecom environments covering 4G/5G security, RAN infrastructures, transport networks, and cloud/virtualisation platforms.
• Deep technical knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks including GSMA, ENISA, TS33.x, ETSI and NIST, alongside hands‑on experience with security solutions such as PKI, HSM, PAM, SIEM, EDR and secure architecture patterns.
• Relevant professional certifications such as TOGAF, ISSAP, CISSP or CCSP (or equivalent), combined with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Telecommunications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders; proficiency in French is a strong advantage, along with flexibility for international travel to customer locations.
