The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia, involving major mixed-use development including sports, entertainment, arts, and infrastructure.

Mace seeks high-calibre professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of this significant project.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing cost management services from inception to completion across sectors.
  2. Utilizing advanced technical and discipline expertise.
  3. Conducting feasibility studies, advising on procurement strategies, and preparing procurement reports.
  4. Applying value management techniques early in projects.
  5. Managing estimating and cost planning, including presenting final cost plans.
  6. Contributing to procurement processes effectively.
  7. Supervising contract document preparation and assisting in formal execution.
  8. Advising on contract administration.
  9. Measuring valuations and managing cost checking and valuation work.
  10. Ensuring cost control and producing monthly cost reports for clients.
  11. Managing costs related to design changes, contract awards, and construction activities.
  12. Evaluating claims for delays and additional costs.
  13. Providing advice on issuing certificates of making good defects and final completion.
  14. Managing and mentoring a team of cost consultants.
  15. Driving system and process improvements and transformational change.
  16. Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  17. Managing and influencing key stakeholders.
  18. Implementing continuous improvement plans and business enhancements.
  19. Contributing to net zero carbon transition efforts during project delivery.

Minimum requirements:

  • Visa criteria for Saudi Arabia and relevant high-value project experience in project management consultancy.
  • Experience delivering service excellence to clients.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, risk management, and change control.
  • Experience with various contract types and measurement methods.
