Senior Controllership Analyst

Bangsar South Kuala Lumpur

As a Senior Controllership Analyst in the Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell, you will hold a critical position within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the controllership function for the designated region or division within the CORP SBG. You will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including regional finance, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, is essential to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. You will report directly to the Finance Manager within the CORP SBG and work out of our Malaysia location on a hybrid schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit and tax Coordination: Work with external auditors and tax agents during audits and income tax return submissions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements). Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business performance. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations. Drive the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency. Provide recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decisions.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
