We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract & Project Controls Specialist to support our growing project management team. This is a key position responsible for contract administration, project documentation, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder coordination across high-value engineering and construction projects.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project compliance, efficiency, and performance by maintaining accurate records, managing deliverables, and supporting project leadership in making data-driven decisions. Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure full compliance.
Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
Monitor and track contractual obligations, deliverables, and key milestones.
Liaise with legal and procurement teams to resolve contractual issues.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation system for projects.
Organize and manage project files such as change orders, plans, and schedules.
Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with project teams to gather and consolidate project information.
Track and maintain project schedules, identifying delays or risks early.
Support project teams in developing mitigation strategies for schedule issues.
Prepare regular progress reports and status updates for management.
Monitor and analyze project budgets and expenditures.
Track costs related to labour, materials, and third-party services.
Generate financial reports to aid project decision-making.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting departments for cost accuracy.
Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders and suppliers.
Support project meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, and action logs.
Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency within the project team.
Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
PMP certification is a strong advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in contract administration and project controls within large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
Deep understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and project management frameworks.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and documentation platforms.
