Job summary

A leading company in inspection and certification services is looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist in Jeddah. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in government procurement within Saudi Arabia, along with strong knowledge of contract management and compliance. This role involves managing all aspects of the contract lifecycle and requires excellent communication skills in English and preferably Arabic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contract administration and government procurement.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi tendering laws and procurement systems.
  • Experience in waste management or public service contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Saudi laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and amendments.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Specialist with a strong background in managing government procurement processes within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of contract lifecycle management and demonstrate experience handling complex contract matters, including change orders, extensions, and claims.

Experience working in waste management, municipal services, or environmental sectors will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all phases of the contract lifecycle (pre-award to post-award)
  • Ensure compliance with the Saudi Government Tenders and Procurement Law and executive regulations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and contractual correspondence
  • Support legal and procurement teams in procurement planning and bid evaluations
  • Handle contract variations, delays, claims, and closeout procedures
  • Coordinate with project managers, legal advisors, and client representatives to ensure timely execution
  • Maintain thorough records for audits, reporting, and legal compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contract administration and government procurement
  • Strong understanding of Saudi tendering laws, procurement systems (such as Etimad), and compliance requirements
  • Solid grasp of contract risk management, dispute resolution, and legal drafting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Experience in waste management, infrastructure, or public service contracts is preferred
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder coordination across legal, technical, and financial domains
