  • Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to draft, review, and negotiate complex contract terms that mitigate risks and maximize project value.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations throughout the contract lifecycle, identifying and addressing potential legal issues proactively.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for contracts, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders to safeguard company interests.
  • Manage and maintain centralized contract documentation, ensuring all contracts are updated, easily accessible, and compliant with internal policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and disputes, facilitating resolutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement contract management processes and tools that enhance efficiency and transparency across the organization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on contract deliverables and timelines, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior contract engineers and team members on best practices and emerging trends in contract management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, or related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred for advanced strategic roles.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, ideally within the Steel Structure Fabrication or Pressure Vessel industry.
  • Professional certifications such as the Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or similar are highly valued.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value contracts with multinational corporations, demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across various levels of an organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in contract management software and systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools specific to the steel industry.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
