General overview of the role

A Content Developer is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across various platforms to support business goals, enhance user engagement, and improve brand visibility. This role requires a combination of writing, editing, and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Content Developers are also tasked with ensuring that content is optimized for user experience, and platform-specific requirements. They regularly analyze content performance to make data-driven decisions for future content strategies. Additionally, they stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences to ensure the content remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and informative content for social media, marketing materials, and other digital platforms.
  • Research industry trends, audience needs, and competitor content to create content strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Write and edit copy for various purposes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand tone and style in Arabic and English.
  • Collaborate with design, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure content is optimized for performance and user experience.
  • Create and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content across multiple platforms.
  • Review and update existing content to keep it relevant and aligned with current business goals and strategies.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand content requirements and objectives, tailoring content to specific target audiences.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Ensure all content follows company guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and formatting.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in content creation, writing, or development across various platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to content development.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple content projects at once.
Nice to have/preferred skills and experience:
  • Experience with multimedia content creation (videos, infographics, podcasts).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Previous experience with content marketing or digital marketing.
  • Experience using AI-based content creation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper AI).
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., tech, healthcare, finance) for content creation.
