Overview
The position holds full responsibility for establishing and managing customer relations, team management, and pre-sales management. Prior experience in consulting is a MUST. Prior experience in supply chain & logistics will be a plus.
You will be the primary point of contact with clients and will be required to demonstrate industry expertise and develop strong business partnerships.
The official position title and internal corporate level will be determined through interviews and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership - Manage the delivery of major strategic consulting engagements from inception to completion, including design, planning, costing, management, primary research, and developing bespoke client-focused solutions through commercial leadership.
- Industry Interaction - Lead by undertaking primary research and conducting strategic discussions with industry participants. Networking within the industry is critical for success.
- Presentations - Interpret research data to prepare compelling reports and presentations suitable for C-suite meetings. Support partners and business unit leaders with presentation materials.
- Business Development - Develop and nurture client relationships, conduct detailed customer needs analysis, and demonstrate industry expertise.
- Domain Expertise - Be an industry expert and trusted advisor in the automatic & logistic sectors.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed consultant/researcher with a good understanding of market research and consulting methodologies. A proactive, organized, and innovative approach is essential, with a proven ability to deliver results.
- At least 5 years of experience in business/strategy consulting (MUST).
- 8–12 years of experience with a strong understanding of market research/consulting, ideally in logistics, supply chain, and transportation sectors.
- Degree or postgraduate qualification (MBA).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & Arabic; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Experience in transportation and logistics projects is desirable.
- Proven track record in developing business relationships, creating proposals, negotiating, and closing deals in the MEASA region, especially KSA.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- People management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Critical reasoning, attention to detail, project management, persuasive communication, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and perform financial/statistical analysis.
