Job Description

  1. Contract Execution – Convert defined scope, deliverables, and fee structures into templated contract formats. Review contracts for accuracy and completeness, route for approvals, and upload to the contract repository. Liaise with the in-house Legal team regarding contract compliance.
  2. Contract Tracking – Track all contracts, facilitate approvals, and follow up proactively during the contract lifecycle. Ensure correct workflow submission.
  3. Review project correspondence to identify key risks to the programme and budget, working closely with project management and senior management to develop mitigations and action plans.
  4. Prepare and review contractual correspondence and notices, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  5. Review claim notices and submissions, assessing the client's exposure to additional costs and budgets, in collaboration with the project team and consultants.
  6. Manage trackers for all changes, variations, and claims under the contract.
  7. Be fully conversant with all forms of FIDIC contracts.
  8. Have extensive experience in reviewing and assessing contentious and complex contractual matters, including claims, and in preparing detailed reports with recommendations.
  9. Assist in resolving invoice, purchase order, and payment issues by working with vendors and the Accounts Payable team.
  10. Assist in compiling monthly reports for client approval.

Qualifications

  • A postgraduate degree in Law (LLB or LLM) and a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience working in consultancy and acting as lead contract administrator.
  • Minimum 20 years of senior-level experience.
  • Strong communication, management, writing, and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, and engagement capabilities.
