AWS Enterprise Support is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Architect to drive our customers' spirit of innovation across all technologies—including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Application-level Services, Networking, Serverless, Deployment, Security, and more. This is not a sales role but an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
As a Senior Cloud Operations Architect, you will craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services—such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, and others. Your technical expertise and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within client environments, engaging with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
You will provide advocacy and strategic guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, proactively maintaining your customers' AWS environments. Building close relationships will allow you to understand their business, operational needs, and technical challenges, helping them maximize AWS value. This role may require travel of 10% or more as needed.
