Job Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Responsible for delivering quality structural engineering services to SOCOTEC clients.

Perform site inspections to ensure adherence to local regulations and project requirements.

Ensure work is carried out according to relevant instructions and company policies.

Maintain the highest qualification levels as determined by SOCOTEC for relevant disciplines.

Main Tasks:

• Review documents according to designated checking levels.
• Verify that evidences are justified in the Design Package under review.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations.
• Provide technical opinions on calculation notes and review elements.
• Prepare and submit document review reports.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with SOCOTEC and client quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses, or hazards immediately.
• Promote a culture of safety and responsibility within the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with international codes and local regulations, notably the SBC Code.
• Must be of Saudi nationality or have resided in KSA for at least 5 years.
• Registered with the Saudi Society of Engineers.
