Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Road Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
2. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.
3. Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
4. Strong leadership, mentorship, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
5. Technical expertise in civil engineering, construction specifications, standards, and codes.
6. Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and process improvement skills within a government context.
7. Proven ability to manage consultants and contractors, and to produce detailed construction contract agreements.
8. Knowledge of storm sewer system design and regulations related to bridges and highway structures.
9. Experience in preparing road condition assessment reports and participating in pavement, drainage, and right-of-way maintenance activities.
10. Ability to develop comprehensive facility management programs, including budgeting, strategic planning, and prioritization.
11. Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-CP, CBP, FE, CCP, PSP are preferred.
12. Proficiency in computer software relevant to project management and civil engineering.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
14. Strong organizational, time-management, and relationship-building skills.
15. Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
