Job description

Project Supervision & Execution

• Oversee and monitor all civil construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  
• Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
  
• Ensure that civil works align with project timelines, budget constraints, and contractual obligations.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical solutions for construction challenges.
  

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure that all civil works adhere to local and international building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
  
• Implement quality control measures and verify materials, workmanship, and testing procedures.
  
• Coordinate with third-party testing agencies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  
• Review and enforce adherence to project specifications, design criteria, and structural stability requirements.
  

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with project managers, architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain work progress.
  
• Conduct progress meetings, prepare reports, and provide updates to the project team and client representatives.
  
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or conflicts arising during the construction phase.
  

Health, Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure all civil construction activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
  
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction processes and site conditions.
  
• Support safety officers in enforcing site safety measures, including PPE compliance and hazard assessments.
  

Technical Review & Documentation

• Review and verify civil engineering calculations, designs, and structural analysis reports.
  
• Maintain proper documentation of all project-related civil engineering activities, approvals, and variations.
  
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation at project completion.
  

Construction Progress Monitoring

• Track and report on the progress of civil works, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
  
• Assist in resolving technical issues, reviewing contractor claims, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  
• Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design and construction efficiency.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering supervision and construction management.
  
• Experience in supervision consultancy is mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, concrete and steel structures, geotechnical principles, and infrastructure works.
  
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations, FIDIC contracts, and Aramco standards is preferred.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, Primavera P6, and MS Office.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
