Amazon KSA is looking for an Arabic-speaking, smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative Senior Category Manager to join our Amazon Retail business based in Riyadh.

The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the P&L and strategy for a major category in Amazon KSA. This role involves driving category growth, managing profitability, and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent business judgment, vendor management and negotiation skills, curiosity, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience. The candidate should be ready for on-ground work and collaboration with cross-functional teams, working with vendors of all sizes, and demonstrating leadership and communication skills to represent Amazon effectively.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Job Purpose
To communicate effectively, solve problems, and balance the needs of Amazon and strategic suppliers.
2. Job Description
- Maintain data quality for the product catalog.
- Build comprehensive brand destinations within Amazon.
- Coordinate and create launch plans for new products, brands, and categories.
- Manage site placements and promotions in collaboration with suppliers and relevant teams.
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns in coordination with the Marketing and Merchandising teams.
- Provide reporting and success metrics for campaigns and activities.
- Review sales and key metrics to identify opportunities for sales optimization and customer outreach.
- Manage inventory levels, open-to-buy, inventory health, forecasting, and assortment planning.
- Engage with suppliers and manage their relationships.
- Oversee inbound shipments, fill rate, SKUs, operational issues, lead times, quality, and deviations.
- Responsible for category KPIs.
