  • Amazon KSA is seeking an Arabic-speaking, smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative Senior Category Manager to join our Amazon Retail team based in Riyadh.

    Amazon GCC provides a convenient, safe, and enjoyable online shopping experience through a trusted platform featuring over 1,000,000 products from international and local brands at competitive prices.

    The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the P&L and strategy for a major category in Amazon KSA. The role involves driving category growth, managing profitability, and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent business judgment, vendor management and negotiation skills, curiosity, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience. The role requires on-ground work and collaboration with cross-functional teams, working with vendors of all sizes, and demonstrating leadership and communication skills to represent Amazon effectively.

    Key job responsibilities

    1. JOB PURPOSE

    To be an effective communicator and problem-solver, balancing the needs of Amazon and strategic suppliers.

    2. JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Maintain data quality for the product catalog.
    • Build comprehensive brand destinations within Amazon.
    • Create launch plans for new products, brands, and categories.
    • Manage site placements and promotions in coordination with suppliers and the event calendar.
    • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns in collaboration with Instock and Marketing/Merchandising teams.
    • Provide reporting and success metrics for campaigns and merchandising activities.
    • Review sales and key metrics to identify opportunities for sales optimization and customer reach.
    • Manage inventory levels and inventory health, including open-to-buy, forecasting, and assortment planning.
    • Engage with suppliers to manage inventory, shipments, and operational issues.
    • Drive efficiencies through collaboration with operations teams.
    • Monitor and manage inbound shipments, fill rates, SKUs, lead times, and quality deviations.
    • Be responsible for category KPIs.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree
