Amazon KSA is seeking an Arabic-speaking, enthusiastic, and creative Senior Category Manager to join our Retail business in Riyadh.

Amazon GCC provides a safe, convenient, and enjoyable online shopping experience with over 1,000,000 products from international and local brands at competitive prices.

The Senior Category Manager will own the P&L and strategy for a major category in KSA. This role involves driving category growth, managing profitability, and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, good business judgment, vendor management and negotiation skills, curiosity, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience. The role requires on-ground work and collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors of all sizes, requiring leadership presence and excellent communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Job Purpose: Effectively communicate and solve problems, balancing the needs of Amazon and strategic suppliers.
  2. Job Description:
  3. Maintain data quality for the product catalog.
  4. Build comprehensive brand destinations within Amazon.
  5. Create launch plans for new products, brands, or categories.
  6. Manage site placements and promotions in coordination with suppliers and the event calendar.
  7. Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns with the Merchandising and Marketing teams.
  8. Provide reporting and success metrics for campaigns and activities.
  9. Review sales data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and customer reach.
  10. Manage inventory levels, open-to-buy, and assortment planning.
  11. Engage with suppliers and manage inventory, shipments, and operational issues.
  12. Drive efficiencies through collaboration with operations teams.
  13. Oversee category KPIs.
