Senior Business Development Manager MEP Contracting
Location: Saudi Arabia time split between Riyadh, Jeddah & Eastern Province office.

Job Purpose:
To identify, develop, and secure high-value MEP contracting opportunities across Saudi Arabia in alignment with the company's strategic growth targets. The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in market positioning, client relationship management, and driving new business pipelines, leveraging deep market knowledge and local networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence & Strategic Prospecting
- Identify upcoming MEP opportunities across sectors (e.g., commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, industrial).
- Track active tenders, RFPs, and prequalification opportunities with developers, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct competitor analysis and assess market trends, pricing, and positioning.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: developers, consultants, PMCs, government entities, and contractors.
- Represent the company in meetings, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Ensure a consultative, value-driven approach to client engagement and solution development.
Proposal & Bid Coordination
- Collaborate with estimation, engineering, and commercial teams to prepare compelling technical and commercial proposals.
- Lead prequalification submissions and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Support bid strategy, win themes, and negotiation of final terms where needed.
Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospects in line with the company's sales targets.
- Monitor progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify JV or subcontracting partnership opportunities for large-scale or specialized projects.
- Support strategic alliances with OEMs, technology providers, and consultants to enhance the
- company's offering.
- Lead efforts to register the company with new clients or government entities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 1012 years of experience in business development within the construction or MEP
- industry in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record in securing major MEP contracts with Tier 1 clients.
- Strong network within the Saudi construction ecosystem (developers, consultants, government
- bodies).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
- Understanding of the MEP project lifecycle, tendering, and commercial frameworks.
Other Requirements:
- Saudi driving license and willingness to travel across the Kingdom.
- High level of self-motivation, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
