Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Rystad Energy is a rapidly growing company represented in more than 30 countries. The MENA Commercial team is seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Senior Business Development Manager, leading the expansion of our business within this region.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with exceptional sales experience within the energy sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial and negotiation skills, knowledge of the MENA energy market, excellent listening and networking abilities, and the capacity to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client acquisition strategies.
  2. Identify and generate new business opportunities to fuel growth.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, research, and client services to engage prospects and close deals.
  4. Sell Rystad Energy’s research offerings to energy companies, governments, and industrial organizations.
  5. Engage with, present, and pitch to prospective clients.
  6. Manage client accounts post-sale to ensure renewal and growth through upselling and cross-selling.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years of B2B Sales/Business Development experience in the energy industry or financial services.
  • Experience selling business or market intelligence services within energy, financial services, or energy trading segments.
  • Solid network within the MENA energy sector or related segments for new business generation.
  • Ability to engage with all organizational levels, including senior management and C-suite.
  • Experience in internal stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • CRM experience.
