Senior Business Analyst Expert

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) Expert will lead the analysis of business processes and requirements for a transformation initiative. This role ensures that business needs are translated into actionable insights, aligning project goals with organizational objectives. The Senior BA Expert will also support the implementation of digital tools, such as the One Delivery Platform (OneDP), to enhance project efficiency, process automation, and reporting.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve business processes through digitization and automation.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for project components esp. in Learning Management Systems.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Map business processes and workflows to align with transformation goals and OneDP implementation.
• Design and implement process improvements for project management, reporting, and administration.
• Conduct a gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
• Create and maintain business requirement specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Ensure business analysis activities align with strategic objectives and best practices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project deliverables.
• Mentor junior business analysts and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with Process and Digitization Experts for seamless integration of process automation.
• Monitor implemented solutions, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Assist with change management to help stakeholders adapt to new systems and processes.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies for requirements gathering and project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, and requirements gathering, with a focus on large-scale or public sector projects.
• Proven track record in leading business analysis activities, including stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, and aligning business needs with technology solutions esp. in Learning Management systems.
• Strong expertise in Business Process Management (BPM), digital transformation, and automation tools (e.g., OneDP, Power BI, RPA tools).
• Proficient in creating and maintaining Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), use cases, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies for requirements gathering, documentation, and project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of requirements analysis techniques and tools, including UML and BPMN.
• Experience with data modelling and process reengineering to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create detailed business requirements, system specifications, and user stories.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise between business and technical teams.
• Native Arabic Speaking is essential for this role.
