Role Overview: We are looking for a highly technical Senior Business Analyst to lead business and technical analysis for international remittance projects and external bank-to-bank API integrations. This is not a generalist BA role — the ideal candidate must have real-world experience working with cross-border payment systems, ISO 20022/CBPR+ messaging, and designing APIs that enable actual money movement between different financial institutions. This role will act as the crucial link between business operations, compliance, technology teams, and external partner banks to implement cross-border payment solutions aligned with technical, operational, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Drive business and functional analysis for international remittance solutions and cross-border money transfers. • Define API integration requirements for setting up real-time, secure, and compliant bank-to-bank money transfer systems. • Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, API requirement sheets, and user stories for developers and architects. • Translate complex regulatory (SAMA, AML/KYC, international compliance) and operational needs into actionable technology specifications. • Lead impact analysis and provide effective problem-solving for transactional workflows, ensuring data integrity, settlement accuracy, and regulatory compliance. • Oversee the implementation of ISO 20022 structured messaging standards and optimize SWIFT payment flows. • Ensure system readiness for CBPR+ (Cross-Border Payments and Reporting Plus) compliance by November 2025. • Work closely with development teams, solution architects, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project goals. • Coordinate testing phases to validate API integrations and remittance workflows under real-world conditions. • Provide guidance and expertise on payment hubs, remittance gateways, and reconciliation processes.
• PMP Certification (or equivalent such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, or PgMP). • 5+ years of experience in digital remittances, cross-border payments, and banking operations. • Proven experience implementing APIs that enabled actual remittance/money movement between banks or financial institutions. • Deep technical understanding of ISO 20022 messaging formats, SWIFT standards, and CBPR+ compliance frameworks. • Strong expertise in regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, FATF, SAMA regulations) within international remittance operations. • Experience conducting impact analysis and developing business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications. • Familiarity with remittance settlement processes, payment system configurations, payment hubs, and reconciliation workflows. • Experience coordinating testing and validation of API integrations and remittance system workflows. Preferred Qualifications: • Background in fintech digital payment solutions. • Strong working knowledge of Saudi Arabia's remittance market and familiarity with local and international remittance laws. • Knowledge of Open Banking standards and API security (OAuth2.0, JWT, etc.). • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills. • Data-driven mindset with experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum project management environments. Important: This role is suited for candidates who can operate at the intersection of business analysis and technical solution design for remittance APIs and ISO 20022/CBPR+ implementation. Purely migration-focused profiles or non-technical BAs will not be considered. Why Join Us? • Be a key driver in Saudi Arabia’s digital remittance transformation. • Work at the intersection of compliance, technology, and innovation. • Collaborate with leading banks, fintechs, and regulatory bodies. • Help shape the future of international money transfers in a rapidly evolving market. • Competitive salary and career growth opportunities aligned with Vision 2030.
