A leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh seeks a Senior Brand Manager to expand and drive growth in the GCC market. You will develop marketing strategies, ensure implementation, and analyze market trends while working closely with regional teams. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in a medical field and have 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in brand management.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing GCC experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic & English essential.

Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • He/she will be responsible to expand and drive sustainable growth of Aspen portfolio in GCC region through commercial excellence knowledge, delivering best in class marketing strategies and driving implementation and optimization excellence through driving on ground and digital marketing tactics and activities.
  • He/she understands the global and local strategies and collaborates with key support functions to create a tailored marketing strategy approach that reflects the dynamics of the region, while maintaining budgetary stewardship and a close eye on profitability.
  • The role is part of Regional Marketing team and would require the person to work closely with both regional peers and the respective country sales and marketing teams.
  • The position reports directly to Central Marketing Manager EME

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing & driving marketing strategies and brand plans across the GCC region and continuous follow-up to ensure their implementation.
  • Analyzing competitor activity, Market Share, Sales & develop counteractive strategies.
  • Ability to show examples of how to develop, coach and enable high performance teams and proactively promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work within highly matrix environments and cross functional and multicultural teams.
  • Assessing therapeutic trends in various markets.
  • Planning and implementing capability and or action to drive product and performance.
  • Provide support and attend tasks as required by the job scope and line manager requests.
Requirements

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any medical related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in brand management.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing GCC experience is a plus.
  • Specialty care experience in multinational pharmaceutical company is a must. Experience with OTC products is a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Sales & Marketing know-how essential - Good Knowledge
  • Experience in setting up promotional arrangements and managing same with distributors - Good Experience
  • Proven track record of sales and marketing performance - Good Record
  • Fluency in Arabic & English essential (verbal & written), French is a plus - Expert
