Job Description
Role Purpose:
- Responsible for expanding and driving sustainable growth of Aspen's portfolio in the GCC region through commercial excellence, marketing strategies, and digital marketing tactics.
- Understand global and local strategies, collaborate with support functions to create tailored marketing approaches, and ensure budget and profitability management.
- Work closely with regional peers and local sales and marketing teams as part of the Regional Marketing team.
- Report directly to the Central Marketing Manager EME.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and brand plans across the GCC, monitor their execution.
- Analyze competitors, market share, and sales; develop counter-strategies.
- Develop, coach, and enable high-performance teams; promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Operate within matrix environments and multicultural teams.
- Set and validate sales budgets and long-term plans for products.
- Train and guide sales force with skills and promotional activities to meet objectives.
- Manage and report on territory A&P activities.
- Support market access initiatives and tender processes.
- Optimize field force deployment and promotional strategies.
- Plan OTC campaigns and pharmacy retail advertising, engaging key stakeholders.
- Coordinate new product launches, from prelaunch to post-launch tracking.
- Drive digital marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
- Develop promotional materials prior to campaigns.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, hospitals, agencies, and officials.
- Organize and attend conferences, CME, and meetings regionally and locally.
- Support licensing, pipeline, and therapeutic trend assessments.
- Implement strategies to enhance product performance.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's in a medical-related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years in brand management; GCC pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience is a plus.
- Experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies, with OTC experience as an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong sales and marketing knowledge.
- Experience managing promotional arrangements with distributors.
- Proven sales and marketing performance record.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
