Job Description

Role Purpose:

  • Responsible for expanding and driving sustainable growth of Aspen's portfolio in the GCC region through commercial excellence, marketing strategies, and digital marketing tactics.
  • Understand global and local strategies, collaborate with support functions to create tailored marketing approaches, and ensure budget and profitability management.
  • Work closely with regional peers and local sales and marketing teams as part of the Regional Marketing team.
  • Report directly to the Central Marketing Manager EME.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and brand plans across the GCC, monitor their execution.
  • Analyze competitors, market share, and sales; develop counter-strategies.
  • Develop, coach, and enable high-performance teams; promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Operate within matrix environments and multicultural teams.
  • Set and validate sales budgets and long-term plans for products.
  • Train and guide sales force with skills and promotional activities to meet objectives.
  • Manage and report on territory A&P activities.
  • Support market access initiatives and tender processes.
  • Optimize field force deployment and promotional strategies.
  • Plan OTC campaigns and pharmacy retail advertising, engaging key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate new product launches, from prelaunch to post-launch tracking.
  • Drive digital marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
  • Develop promotional materials prior to campaigns.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, hospitals, agencies, and officials.
  • Organize and attend conferences, CME, and meetings regionally and locally.
  • Support licensing, pipeline, and therapeutic trend assessments.
  • Implement strategies to enhance product performance.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's in a medical-related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years in brand management; GCC pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies, with OTC experience as an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong sales and marketing knowledge.
  • Experience managing promotional arrangements with distributors.
  • Proven sales and marketing performance record.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
