Job summary

A leading company in the FMCG sector is looking for a Senior Brand Manager to enhance brand presence in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in brand management, ideally with experience in beverages or personal care products. The manager will coordinate marketing strategies, oversee inventory management, and report on campaign effectiveness. Candidates should have strong collaboration skills and prior experience in multinational environments.

Job description

Our client is a regional leader in the marketing, sales and distribution of Food & Beverage, Household & Personal Care, better-for-you Brands to Grocery, Drugstores, Speciality, Food Service, Quick & eCommerce. They have a robust regional network that supports customers and suppliers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan & Lebanon.

They are seeking a seasoned Senior Brand Manager with a strong background in brand strategy, sales leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and performance in the Saudi Arabian market. The role will focus on either their Beverage OR Non-Food (Personal Care & Hygiene) portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Brand Communication & Relationship Management:

  • Lead weekly calls and alignment meetings with brand principals across marketing and commercial functions.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive annual Joint Business Plans to ensure strategic alignment.

2. Comprehensive Marketing Management:

  • Plan and execute trade campaigns, visibility programs, in-store activations, and liquidation strategies to enhance brand presence.
  • Coordinate participation in industry trade shows and relevant events, ensuring maximum exposure.

3. Sales, Procurement & Internal Alignment

  • Set and align annual purchase targets with Procurement to streamline inventory management.
  • Monitor stock health, proactively flagging excess inventory or underperforming SKUs.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report sell-out performance, stock status, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Deliver structured monthly reporting, providing valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders.

5. Brand Advocacy & Development

  • Act as a dedicated brand steward, representing the interests and integrity of each brand within the organisation.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proactively propose initiatives for growth and differentiation.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven portfolio experience in Beverages and/or Non-Food categories (Personal Care & Hygiene) is essential
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Brand Management and related functions.
  • Prior experience in the FMCG sector, ideally within multinational companies (MNCs).
  • Proven track record in sales leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
