This role is responsible for overseeing sustainability initiatives, managing ESG reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. It also involves engaging with stakeholders, tracking sustainability performance, and driving continuous improvement to enhance the company's long-term impact.
Key Accountabilities:- Managing Sustainability:
- Integrate ESG risks and opportunities into corporate strategy and decision-making to enhance business resilience and value creation.
- Manage cross-functional sustainability-related practices, working groups, and governance structures to embed ESG across the organization’s operations and value chain.
- Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging sustainability topics to proactively adapt and future-proof corporate sustainability strategies.
- Reporting and Disclosure:
- Lead the development of ESG and sustainability reports in alignment with recognized frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP).
- Ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and ESG rating agencies.
- Standards and ESG Rating Agencies Alignment:
- Align ESG practices with international and regional sustainability standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and voluntary frameworks.
- Monitor and respond to ESG rating agencies (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics) to enhance the company's ESG scores and market perception.
- Conduct gap analyses and benchmarking against industry peers to identify areas for ESG performance improvement.
