Job Review:

Lead efforts to support value delivery for customers through product demonstration and distributor engagement through direct engagement, trainings, events and partnerships.

Building Expert Hubs

  1. Engage with Chef's Communities
  • Actively participate in chef-focused communities to build relationships and gather insights on their challenges and needs.
  • Design surveys and organize focus groups to better understand their struggles and what they need for enhanced collaboration.
  • Utilize insights to help GCS (likely referring to a culinary or business unit) provide value by improving products or services that cater to these needs.
  • Attend industry events to expand GCS networks and deepen relationships within the culinary world.
  1. Support Value Proposition Team
  • Assist the value proposition team in upgrading sensory panel profiles (ensuring these panels are more representative of diverse tastes, regions, etc.).
  • Help in continuously expanding the sensory contacts pool, ensuring GCS can engage with chefs and culinary professionals across a wider region and channel.

Customer Demo / Training

  1. Designing Demo Sessions
  • Create a well-defined demo session process involving recipe ranges that are aligned with customer needs.
  • Prepare training materials and a technical guide to ensure customers have resources post-session for continued learning.
  1. Tracking Customer Satisfaction
  • Establish a system to track customer feedback and satisfaction after demos and training.
  • The goal is to scale up demos by continually improving the process, with the ultimate objective of strengthening the direct connection between GCS and the market.

Support GCS Team with Communication Content

  • Provide content creation support by ensuring culinary messaging across all channels, aligning with both brand objectives and culinary authenticity. This could include recipe development, food trends, or other culinary initiatives.

Institutional Partnerships

  1. Plan & Execute Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify and plan strategic culinary partnerships that will enable chefs and culinary communities to engage with GCS.
  • The objective is to establish GCS as a trusted partner within the culinary world, demonstrating how GCS can enhance chefs' work and the broader culinary community.

Culinary Expo Lead

  1. Leading Expo Design & Organization
  • Take the lead in designing the overall concept of culinary expos, including the creation of menus, demos, tools, and other related activities.
  • Invite influential chefs and industry leaders to participate in the expo, using the event to build relationships with distributors and customers.
  • Use the expo to showcase GCS's offerings and enhance brand recognition through interactive, chef-driven engagement.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in culinary arts, food product development, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in customer engagement, including demos, training, or workshops.
  • Experience in event planning and organizing culinary expos or related events.
  • Strong background in managing external partnerships, especially within the culinary industry (chefs, distributors, etc.).

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create training materials and conduct demos.
  • Ability to analyze customer feedback and track satisfaction levels.
  • Creative thinking and innovation in culinary demonstrations and customer engagement.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for content creation and customer tracking.
