Job description

We are looking for a Senior Architecture Engineer with a strong background in both architectural and urban design, capable of directly contributing to the development of design concepts, drawings, and master plans. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in producing detailed drawings and documentation, along with an understanding of urban development principles. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia and be comfortable taking technical ownership of the design output.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop architectural designs and technical drawings from concept through to construction documents.
2. Take a hands-on role in drawing production, using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM platforms.
3. Prepare and review urban design layouts and master plans, integrating zoning and planning regulations.
4. Ensure the quality and accuracy of all design documents in line with project requirements and local codes.
5. Coordinate design development across disciplines to maintain consistency and technical alignment.
6. Participate in technical workshops and resolve design-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Assist in preparing presentations and design reports for client and authority approvals.
8. Ensure compliance with municipal and national building codes, urban guidelines, and client standards.
9. Provide technical mentorship and support to junior architects and draftsmen.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s in Urban Planning or related field is a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio of hands-on architectural and urban design work.
• Proficiency in CAD, Revit / BIM, and other technical design software.
• Solid understanding of Saudi authority regulations and experience with submission procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to translate design concepts into technical deliverables.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
